Grievance Redressal

Who to complain to, how, and within how many days you will hear back — as required by India's IT Rules 2021.

Updated 7 September 2026

Effective date: the last-updated date is shown at the foot of this page.

Rule 3(2) of India's Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 requires Spardha Pariksha Foundation to publish the details of a Grievance Officer. They are set out below.

This applies to our website and to all three apps — MahaTest, MPSC PYQ App and MahaPolice Prep.

1. Grievance Officer

2. What you can raise

  • Objections to how your personal data has been used
  • Infringement of your copyright or other rights
  • Complaints about a premium membership, a payment or a refund
  • Use of your private information — photograph, name, identity — without consent
  • Anyone breaching our terms of use

3. How to complain

Write to the address above, or use the contact form. To help us resolve it quickly, please include:

  • Your full name and contact details
  • Exactly what the complaint concerns — a link or screenshot where possible
  • What outcome you are seeking
  • Proof that you are the person or organisation whose rights are in question (required for a copyright complaint)

4. How quickly we respond

StageTime
Acknowledgement of your complaintWithin 24 hours
ResolutionWithin 15 days
Misuse of a private image or personal informationRemoved within 24 hours

These periods are those set out in Rule 3(2). Where a complaint will genuinely take longer, we will say so and explain why.

5. If our answer does not satisfy you

6. What we cannot help with

Some things are genuinely outside our hands, and it is fairer to say so than to take a complaint we cannot act on:

  • Exam results, applications or admit cards — please contact the commission concerned (MPSC, UPSC, the recruiting department). We conduct no examination and represent no commission.
  • What an official advertisement says — our pages are guidance; the advertisement governs. See the disclaimer.
  • Payments made through Google Play — premium is bought through Play Billing, so a refund has to be requested from Google first. See the refund policy.
